Name «Neporada»

The name Neporada is derived from the contemporary Ukrainian surname Neporada, which is used in the central regions of Ukraine. This name also has the meaning of 'a person who cannot give good advice'. This meaning has been attested since 1649, when a Cossack from the Uman regiment was named Prokop Neporada. The personal name Porada served as the basis for the formation of the name.
