Name «Nelipets»

The name "Nelipets" is of nicknamed type, formed from the base name "Nelipz" using the suffix -ets. Its first recorded instance in the territory of Ukraine dates back to 1445: "Danil alias Nyelepyecz" (AGZ XIV 1416).
