Name «Yarmyla»

The name 'Yarmyla' is the feminine counterpart of the masculine name Yaromyl. It was recently created by the Czechs in analogy with the older name Jaromir. In Ukraine, this name appeared in the late 20th century. For example, among the students of the Przemyśl Ukrainian Gymnasium in 1986, there were two girls with this name: Drobnak Yarmyla and Yevchych Yarmyla.
