Name «Turiak»

The name 'Turiak' has ancient Ukrainian origins and was borne by a Volodymyr-Volynskyi nobleman. It is derived from the name of the animal "tur" (bison). Some researchers, including S. Rosgiond, believe that the name may also be related to the verb "turity," which means "to drive," although this version has a lower probability.
