Name «Tryhub»

The personal name "Tryhub" is derived from the non-nominative form of the substantivized adjective "tryzubyi," meaning "a person with three lips." In Ukraine, this term referred to someone with a hare lip. Today, the lexeme "Tryzub" is used by Ukrainians not only as a surname but also in the function of a nickname.
