Sviatokhna is a Slavic feminine name derived from the full two-root name Sviatoslav with the diminutive affectionate suffix -khna. The first woman in Rus' with the name Sviatokhna was the daughter of Kazimir II, the wife of Boris Davidovich. In Belarus in the 16th century, the name appeared in the variant Svetokhna (see Svitokhna). In Poland, from the 13th to the 16th centuries, the feminine name Świętochna frequently appears, and it gains popularity in the 19th century.
