Name «Slavkul»

Slavkul is a hypocoristic formation with the suffix -ul derived from the name Slavko. This name was used in the Ukrainian-Romanian border area during the late Middle Ages. Notably, there is a record from 1454 that mentions the loyalty of Lord Slavkul in the town of Suceava.
