For example, in 1490, the form Raszko is noted, and in 1577, it is recorded that Kuril Morozovych had two sons: Vasko and Rashko. In 1620, Rashko Malenya is mentioned as a resident of the village of Svynna. Among the 40,000 Cossacks in 1649, four bore the name Rashko: in the Chyhyryn regiment - Rashko Hulachenko, in the Kyiv regiment - Rashko Zulzhenko, in the Myrhorod regiment - Rashko Sherstyuk, and in the Pereiaslav regiment - Rashko Detskoviechenko. It is also noteworthy that there is a village named Rashkiv, documented since 1765, located near the city of Horodenka in Pokuttya. From the name Rashko, patronyms have been created, such as the surname of the Cossack of the Myrhorod regiment in 1649, Yaros Rashchenko. In Poland, the name Raszko has been recorded since the 13th century, and it is also present in Serbia. This name was widespread among Bulgarians and Russians.
