The prepositional component of this name is based on Rad-, which appears in the names Radomira and Radosława. The suffix -ocha has been added to this base (Bubak 262). In Ukraine, the name Radokha is rare and has only been recorded in the 17th century: Radokha Zhdanova, mother of Savostyan Singayevsky from the village of Shcheniv (DMVN 17th century 302).
