Pozharko is a suffix-based Slavic personal name derived from the name Pozhar. In the Ukrainian context, this name first appears in the 16th century. For example, a townsman from Lyuboml named Pozharko is mentioned in documents (Archive of Yuzhnyy Zakhid Rasy, VII/2, page 322). It is also worth noting that there is a Czech anthroponymic equivalent, Pożarek.
