Name «Pererosl»

The personal name Pererosl originated from the names of two geographical locations. Firstly, it is the name of the village Pererosl, located in the Ivanichivsky district of the Volyn region, which has been mentioned in documents since 1565. Secondly, it is the name of the village Pererosl in Nadvirna, which was first recorded in 1475 as "Oiecha et Vasil de Pereroslya." According to D. Buchko, this village was burned by the Tatars. The name Pererosl is also frequently found in geographical names throughout Ukraine.
