Name «Pereiaslava»

Pereiaslava is the feminine equivalent of the masculine name Pereiaslav, which is referred to in Polish-Latin written sources as Preisława. In documents, she is titled as “ducissa genere Ruthena, consors Semoviti Masoviae ducis” (SSNO IV 341). The name Pereiaslava is mentioned between the years 1213-1283. Pereiaslava was the daughter of Daniel Romanovich and the wife of the Polish, Persian, and Masovian prince Ziemowit (LR3 7 5, 4 3 1).
