The name 'Nezgoda' is a Slavic personal name derived from the word 'nezgoda', which means 'disagreement' or 'divergence of views'. In modern times, we encounter references to the anthroponym 'Nezgody', which is used as a surname in the Zakarpattia village of Klyachanovo, near the city of Mukachevo. In medieval Poland, this word was also used as an additional descriptor for personal names. For example, in 1372 there is a record: "Nicolaus dictus Nyezgoda de Sandomiria", and in 1473 – "Paulin domo olim Nyezgoda". In modern Poland, this lexeme is used only as a surname. There is also a record from 1565: Marczin Niezgoda.
