Malchyna is a masculine personal name derived from the names Malko or Malko. However, evidence that the name Malchyna was already neutral regarding expression in the 17th century is found in its appearance in the Register of the Zaporizhian Army in 1649 in the form: Cossack Malchyna Hrynienko.
