Liashko

Dictionary meaning

The name Liashko can be interpreted in two etymological ways: a) it is an ancient ethnonym that Ukrainians long used to refer to a part of the Polish nation; b) it is a colloquial variant of the full personal name Ilyash, officially Ilya. As a personal name, the lexeme Liashko has been used in Ukraine since the 11th century. The oldest recorded instance of it dates back to 1015, referring to Liashko - the killer of the blessed prince Boris. In 1362, a record from the Uzhhorod district (a committee, an administrative-territorial unit in Austria-Hungary) noted "magistri Pauli filii Lachk". In Transcarpathia, the lexeme Liashko has been used as a surname since the 16th century, and in 1649, a Cossack named Kindrat Liashok is recorded in the Cherkasy regiment.

Або "педерасти" типу
Позафракційного депутата Ляшка...
Умови роботи депутатів невтішні й сумні -
Їх примушують голосувати в будні та вихідні.
