Name «Bohuta»

Bohuta is a Belarusian and Ukrainian colloquial equivalent of the male name Bohut (Sudnik 49). From the name Bohuta, the possessive form Bohutin has been derived, which became the basis for naming other classes of anthroponyms and toponyms. For example, the name of the village Bohutin, located in the Zolochiv district of Lviv region, is derived from it (Hudash Ukr 37).
