It is possible that this is a graphic variant of the name "Bohdas." It is less likely that the name variant "Bohdash" was formed through a truncated-suffix method from the base form of the name "Bohdan" using the diminutive suffix -ash, similar to the variants of calendar names "Danylash," "Hryhorash," "Konash," and "Petrosh."
